The Alliance, in cooperation with a professional institution that is recommended by the Climate Change Response Department of the National Development and Reform Commission of China, is implementing a R & D project Development of the baseline and monitoring methodology for greenhouse gas emission reduction in the production of concrete with construction-waste-recycled aggregates and powders. 建筑垃圾再生骨料替代天然骨料的替代率为40%,建筑垃圾再生粉替代水泥的替代率不低于16%。每节约1 吨水泥可减排不少于700 千克CO2 ,每消纳1 吨建筑垃圾再生骨料可减排10 千克CO2 ;以单个一体化项目每年处理建筑垃圾100 万吨计算,全部再生产品在一体化工厂内消纳,每年将减少20 万吨以上的 CO2排放。

Approximately, one ton of cement replaced may lead to a 700kg+ reduction in CO2 emission, and one ton of construction-waste-recycled aggregates consumed may lead to a 10kg reduction in CO2 emission. By the example of an Integration Project factory capable of consuming 1 million ton of construction waste annually, no less than 200,000 tons of CO2 emission shall be reduced per year if all recycled aggregates and powders are utilized at this factory.
